Wigs are made out of one of the three following fibres/material:

Human Hair - feels and looks 100% natural and blends well with natural hair. Can be styled with heat appliances without worry of damage (unless heat is excessively used or applied). It is very durable and lasts much much longer than its synthtic counterparts.

Heat-Friendly Modacrylic Synthetic - is very soft and keeps curls or waves in place longer than human hair wigs. Can last between 7 to 12 months. Is more durable than Kanekalon synthetic however does not hold up as well as human hair. Heat-friendly synthetic wigs are more affordable and are a good place to begin your wig journey on. All heat-friendly synthetic pieces can hold up to 200 degrees of heat, but applying no heat makes it last much longer.

Kanekalon Synthetic - not as durable as heat-friendly synthetic hair, you can expect kanekalon synthetic to last you 2 to 3 months of time. It cannot withstand any heat but can be a good place to start if you are just trying out wigs for the first time.

All pieces are final sale once they leave our store. Orders with subtotals of $100.00 after discounts and before taxes are applied are shipped complimentary and orders with subtotals under $100.00 after discounts and before taxes are applied will be calculated upon checkout based on location.

Only for sales that occur within a fitting inside of our storefront, if you are ordering in a piece of a different colour, you will have one opportunity to exchange the product out for one other colour or style. If the piece is less than the original one that you had purchased, it will be applied to your account as store credit for future purchases.

Detangling Your Piece

Ensure to detangle the wig with a paddle or wet brush to ensure the strands on each piece are thoroughly detangled

Washing Your Piece

Only wash your piece when you need to, meaning when dirt and oil actually begin to transfer over to it. Do not over-wash your piece, especially ones that are synthetic, as it can lead to the fibres breaking down quicker. For synthetic pieces, use a synthetic wig shampoo and conditioner. For human hair, use regular shampoo and conditioner as desired. Soak the piece in a basin of water mixed with shampoo for 10 minutes. Take your piece out and lightly rinse. Re-fill the basin with fresh water and conditioner and let the piece sit fully submerged for another 10 minutes. Take out and rinse. Leave to air dry overnight.

Styling Your Piece

For synthetic pieces, use your wig brush to style the fibres in curls or waves, or a small tooth comb to move your parting to have a new desired look. For human hair pieces, use heat appliances to achieve your desired curl or wave.

Using Heat On Your Piece

For human hair pieces, apply a heat protectant spray to your wigs to protect it from potential heat damage. Then utilize your heat appliance. For heat-friendly synthetic pieces, use only up to 200 degrees and do not put on any heat-protectant prior.
